NATIONALS UPDATE
The X-treme fastpitch organization put on a dazzling display at their respective National tournaments this year. Highlights include the 14u Blue team finishing 4th overall at the USSSA World Series in Salisbury, MD. Named to the All World Team for the tournament were Jordan Prutzer and Natalie Dowzicky. The team was also awarded with the Manager's Award for sportsmanship.
The 16u team finished 9th overall out of 64 teams at the ASA Nationals held in Salisbury, MD. This was the highest finish of any other local Pennsylvania team. Of the 22 PA teams that participated, only Pittsburgh Power had a higher finish then the X-treme.
The 12u Red team competed in the PONY National Championships held in Cary, NC. The finished tied for 25th following the elimination brackets. The overall record was 3-4. The 12u Blue and 18u Red teams played at the ASA Nationals in York, PA. The tournament was interrupted by Mother Nature but did not take away from the fun and experience gained while there.
CONGRATULATIONS TO EACH OF THE PLAYERS WHO PARTICIPATED IN AND REPRESENTED THE X-TREME ORGANIZATION SO WELL THIS YEAR!!!
